Andrzej Wiącek

Graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of the Jagiellonian University. He completed a Course in Psychotherapy in the psychodynamic approach in the Department of Neurosis of the Psychiatry Clinic for Adults, certified by the Polish Psychiatric Association. From 2005 he has been closely cooperating with the University Hospital in Krakow. He gained his professional experience while working in the Psychiatric Clinic for Children and Adolescents, where he focused on problems during developmental stages (specializing in eating disorders), as well as in the Department of Psychotherapy of the University Hospital. He has also been working in public and private Mental Health Clinics.

Andrzej’s psychotherapy treatment is based on the the psychodynamic paradigm. He specializes in diagnosing and treating neurosis, anxiety disorders, sleeping disorders and depression. Within his professional field he is interested in studying the influence of chronic stress on day-to-day functioning of people.
